RULES FOR SERVICES IN THE “AIR TICKETS” CATEGORY

Last updated: 01.09.2026

These Rules govern the use, on the Digital Platform, of the functions for searching, selecting, booking and issuing air tickets and/or proceeding to purchase them (the “Air Ticket Service”). By using the functionality of the Air Ticket Service, the User confirms that they have read these Rules and agree that they apply, together with the applicable provisions of the User Agreement and the Privacy Policy. A contract relating to a specific paid Order is concluded separately in accordance with the Public Offer for Clients, the terms of the Order and the acceptance action provided for in the interface.
1. Terms and Definitions
1.1. Company or Pathrest means Pathrest LLC.

1.2. Digital Platform means the Website operated by the Company, its subdomains, the Personal Account and related software functionality.

1.3. Website means www.pathrest.am, including its subdomains.

1.4. User means any person who visits the Digital Platform or uses its functionality, irrespective of whether that person is registered or places an Order.

1.5. Customer means a person who makes a Booking or places an Order for their own benefit or for the benefit of Travel Participants.

1.6. Travel Participant means a person in whose name an air ticket is issued and/or who is to use the carriage service.

1.7. Offer means an air carriage option and its available terms presented on the Digital Platform or on the platform of an external Seller.

1.8. Booking means the Customer’s request to receive an air carriage service under the selected Offer.

1.9. Order means an identified transaction whose material terms have been established and, where applicable, confirmed in the relevant system.

1.10. Seller means an airline, agency, booking system or other person that, under the relevant model, sells or issues an air ticket and/or accepts payment for it.

1.11. Actual Carrier means the airline identified in the air ticket or itinerary receipt that performs the air carriage.

1.12. Supplier / Booking Supplier means an API, GDS, aggregator, search or booking system, or another third party that provides the technological and/or contractual capability for searching, booking, ticket issuance, payment or servicing.

1.13. Air Ticket means an electronic ticket, itinerary receipt or other document confirming the contract of carriage and/or its conclusion in accordance with the applicable fare and the rules of the Actual Carrier.

1.14. Confirmation means an electronic message or document confirming the status and material terms of a Booking or Order.
2. Air Ticket Service models and the role of Pathrest
2.1. Pathrest provides the User with the information technology functionality to search, compare and select air ticket Offers and, depending on the applicable model, to place an Order or proceed to the platform of an external Seller.

2.2. The Air Ticket Service may operate under one or several models simultaneously: affiliate/redirect, integrated booking through an API/GDS, an intermediary or agency model, a Marketplace Offer, or a sale made by Pathrest in its own name where the necessary legal and contractual grounds exist.

2.3. Under the affiliate/redirect model, the Customer completes the purchase on the external Seller’s platform. In that case, the contract for the sale of the air ticket and/or carriage is concluded with the relevant Seller and/or Actual Carrier, and Pathrest neither accepts payment for nor issues the air ticket unless expressly stated otherwise before the redirect.

2.4. With integrated booking, the Customer may select the Offer, enter the required data, confirm the Order and perform payment actions directly on the Digital Platform without being required to proceed to an external website. In that case, particular contractual, payment-processing and performance functions may be carried out by the Seller, Supplier, payment partner or Actual Carrier.

2.5. The fact that the Customer remains on the Pathrest Digital Platform throughout the booking process, or that a third party’s payment interface is visually embedded in the Website, does not in itself mean that Pathrest is the payment recipient, merchant of record, Seller or Actual Carrier.

2.6. Before the Order is confirmed, the Customer is provided, in an accessible form, with information on Pathrest’s applicable role, the identity of the Seller and Actual Carrier to the extent available at that time, the payment recipient/processor and the specific rules applicable to the Order.

2.7. Neither a direct API integration nor PATHREST’s acceptance of payment in itself makes Pathrest an air carrier. The relevant airline remains the Actual Carrier unless otherwise expressly follows from applicable law or the Order documents.

2.8. Pathrest may receive agency, affiliate or other contractual remuneration from the Seller or another partner. Such internal settlements and commissions do not form part of the contract with the Customer unless they affect the final price or the Customer’s rights.
3. Search, Booking and Order confirmation
3.1. The User enters the search parameters, including the route, dates, number of Travel Participants and other applicable data, and receives a list of Offers available at that time.

3.2. In the case of a redirect, the User proceeds to the external platform only after taking an affirmative action. The terms and privacy policy of the relevant Seller apply to data entered on the external platform, payment and completion of the purchase.

3.3. In an integrated flow, the Customer enters the required data on the Digital Platform and, before confirming the Order, verifies the names and dates of birth of the Travel Participants, document details, route, dates, baggage allowance, fare and other material terms.

3.4. Acceptance of a specific Order is made by an unequivocal action provided for in the interface: selecting a mandatory checkbox, clicking the confirmation/booking/payment button and/or making full or partial payment, depending on the applicable model.

3.5. The Company’s system may record the date and time of acceptance, the Customer and Order identifiers, the version of the applicable documents and technical data necessary to evidence the electronic interaction.

3.6. A Booking is deemed confirmed only after the relevant Confirmation, air ticket and/or itinerary receipt has been received, unless the specific Offer expressly provides otherwise. Initiating a payment or temporarily placing funds on hold does not in itself constitute unconditional confirmation that the ticket has been issued.

3.7. The Customer must verify the documents received and promptly notify the person indicated for Order servicing of any discrepancies.
4. Price, availability, currency and fare terms
4.1. Until the Order is confirmed, prices, seat availability, flight schedules, baggage terms and other parameters may change as a result of dynamic updates to data from external systems and Actual Carriers.

4.2. The final price, charge currency, taxes, fees, the Seller’s service fee and included ancillary services are disclosed to the Customer in the applicable interface before payment is confirmed.

4.3. If a price is displayed in a reference currency, the final charge may be made in another currency. The conversion rate and external bank or payment fees are determined by the relevant bank/payment system unless expressly stated otherwise.

4.4. The price and terms of a confirmed Order may be changed only as permitted by the applicable fare, the terms of the Order or law.

4.5. Before confirmation, Pathrest does not guarantee that a price or availability previously displayed in the search results will remain unchanged where the change is caused by an update from an external source.
5. Changes, cancellation, exchange, refunds and check-in
5.1. The availability of changes, cancellation, exchange and refunds for an air ticket, as well as the applicable penalties and time limits, are determined by the selected fare, the rules of the Seller/Actual Carrier, the payment model and the mandatory provisions of applicable law.

5.2. Requests concerning an air ticket purchased under the redirect model must be submitted to the Seller and/or Actual Carrier on whose platform the purchase was completed. Pathrest may provide available contact details or informational assistance but cannot make a decision in place of the competent party.

5.3. A request concerning an Order placed through Pathrest may be submitted to Pathrest through the Official Communication Channels. Processing the request may require confirmation from the Seller, Supplier or Actual Carrier and is carried out in accordance with their rules and within the scope of the role assumed by Pathrest.

5.4. A refund is technically processed by the person that accepted the payment or by its payment partner. If the relevant amount was not received by Pathrest, it is not deemed to have been received by Pathrest merely because the payment was initiated on the Digital Platform.

5.5. Correction of passenger data, addition of baggage or another ancillary service, seat selection and online check-in are subject to the relevant fare and the technical capabilities of the Actual Carrier/Seller and may require an additional payment.

5.6. Claims relating to flight delays or cancellations, schedule changes, denied boarding or the quality of carriage must be submitted to the competent Seller and/or Actual Carrier, without limiting any rights that the Customer may exercise by law against Pathrest within the scope of Pathrest’s role.

5.7. If the air ticket is a component of a Tour Package, the terms of the Tour Package, the tour operator and the relevant Order may additionally apply to changes and refunds relating to that ticket.
6. Rights, obligations and liability of the parties
6.1. Pathrest is liable only for the obligations, and to the extent, that it has assumed under the specific Order as the operator of the Digital Platform, an intermediary, agent, Seller or other contracting party.

6.2. The Seller, Actual Carrier, Supplier, bank and payment system are responsible for the actions and services falling within their respective control and legal roles.

6.3. Pathrest takes reasonable measures to ensure the proper operation of the Digital Platform and the data transmitted by it, but is not liable for failures of external API/GDS systems, communications networks, payment systems or other third parties, except where caused by Pathrest’s fault or otherwise provided by law.

6.4. The Customer must provide accurate data, verify the fare and terms of the Order before confirmation, ensure the availability of all necessary passports, visas, transit permits and other documents, and comply with the rules of the Actual Carrier and the airport.

6.5. By placing an Order for other persons, the Customer confirms that there is a lawful basis for transferring their data and undertakes to inform them of the applicable terms of the Order.

6.6. Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits any liability or Customer right that may not be excluded or limited under applicable law.
7. Sources of information and service availability
7.1. Information on Offers may be received from airlines, GDSs, aggregators, Sellers and other Suppliers. Pathrest displays that information to the extent received and is responsible for the proper transmission of data within the scope of its role.

7.2. The functionality of the Digital Platform may be temporarily restricted due to maintenance, failures of external systems, security measures or circumstances beyond Pathrest’s reasonable control.
8. Personal data and third-party technologies
8.1. For the purposes of searching, Booking, placing and servicing an Order, the Company may process and transfer to Suppliers, Sellers, Actual Carriers and payment and technical partners the search parameters, the data of the Customer and Travel Participants, and technical identifiers, to the extent necessary and where an appropriate legal basis exists.

8.2. After the User proceeds to an external platform, the terms and privacy policy of that platform also apply to the processing of data.

8.3. The full card number, CVV/CVC and other confidential payment data must not be sent to Pathrest by ordinary email or through free-form fields.

8.4. Details of the processing of personal data and cookies are set out in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
9. Permitted use and automated access
9.1. Without Pathrest’s prior written permission or an API specifically provided by the Company, it is prohibited to use programs, scripts, bots, crawlers, scrapers, parsers, browser automation, artificial intelligence or other automated means for the bulk or systematic collection, copying, downloading, monitoring or reuse of search results or other data.

9.2. Public or technical accessibility does not in itself constitute permission for such activities. These Rules do not grant any right to resell, syndicate or make Offers or data available through an API; such B2B/API relationships are governed by a separate agreement.
10. Support and requests
10.1. Requests concerning the operation of the Digital Platform or an Order placed through Pathrest may be submitted through the Official Communication Channels and should state the Order number and include the available supporting documents.

10.2. For matters concerning changes or refunds, charges or carriage in relation to an air ticket issued on an external Seller’s platform, the Customer must contact the relevant Seller and/or Actual Carrier using the contact details provided by them.
11. Governing law, amendments to the Rules and language
11.1. The relationship between the User and the Company is governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia unless mandatory provisions of applicable law require otherwise.

11.2. The Company may change the list of Suppliers, Sellers and technical integrations available through the Air Ticket Service without amending these Rules, provided that the applicable model and material terms are properly disclosed to the Customer before the Order is confirmed.

11.3. The Company may publish a new version of the Rules on the Website, indicating the date of the latest update. The new version applies to use of the Service and to new Orders after it enters into force. An Order that has already been confirmed is governed by the version presented when it was placed, unless otherwise provided by law or agreed by the parties.

11.4. Amendments that require separate consent under law or by the nature of the relationship take effect only after such consent has been obtained.

11.5. The Rules may be published in Armenian, Russian and English. In the event of discrepancies, the Armenian version prevails unless otherwise required by mandatory provisions of applicable law.
